Both New College Village and New College are centrally located to the Airport, City, Coogee beach, Maroubra beach, and Bondi beach.

There are restaurants, cafes, banks, shops, and parks (including Centennial) within walking distance. Being located on campus at UNSW there is also access to the UNSW Lifestyle Centre (Unigym), tennis courts and a sporting oval.

Easy access to transport is on hand with bus stops located outside the UNSW main entry on Anzac Parade. Buses go to the City, Circular Quay (ferries), Central Station, Airport and beaches. Taxis are also readily available.
