New College Village is on the campus removing long commutes into work. This allows you the flexibility to start work earlier/finish experiments later and have the freedom to head up campus at hours which suit you. It is also close enough to come back for lunch.

There is a residential staff team to support you throughout your time here.

Academic Tutors, who are in their final stages of postgraduate study, are available to support residents in their study and encourage them to engage with their fellow researchers/neighbours to foster each other’s research skills

There will be packages available allowing you the flexibility to cook your own meals, or have meals prepared for you.

Modern facilities with environmental initiatives have been built to enhance a sense of community. The building is secure with smart card access. Residents and administrative staff work alongside each other to ensure a safe environment in which to live and work.

The resident’s association organises activities for the community, with events such as trivia nights, social sport and outdoor activities, all for the benefit of residents so they can get to know one another in a fun, relaxing way

The New College Village has a games room, TV room on each floor, Business Centre, Reading Room, 2 outdoor courtyards, roof top terrace and BBQ facilities available for residents to use.

In co-ordination with the Master, Academic Tutors and University academics from different schools, there will be seminars and lecture series’ on relevant topics of interest to residents, as well as discussion groups and avenues for you to present your own research.
